BIGEN AFRICA Management Services has been appointed as part of a consortium to assist the National Department of Education with the development of a National Education Infrastructure Management System (NEIMS).

The project involves the technical assessment of approximately 30 000 sites across the entire country.

An IMQS module has been developed to report on these educational assets and provides the infrastructure / asset managers of the Dept of Education executive with a custom built integrated infrastructure management tool. The GIS based viewer and reporting tool includes infrastructure –, building –, general educational information –, and financial modules.
