REPORTING SOLUTIONS / WAYLEAVE MANAGEMENT

Wayleave Management

IMQS provides a spatial enabled web based Wayleave application that contribute to our integrated Asset Management and Asset Registering suite of products. The system provides a facility whereby the Infrastructure Services can capture factual data related to Wayleave applications and approvals. The Infrastructure Services would also be able to view details related to applied-for and approved Wayleaves. Additionally, a document linking facility provides support to spatially link, search and retrieve documents.
The system provides the following features:

  • The system provides for the user to be able to view a list of all applied-for and approved Wayleaves as a snapshot-in-time.
  • It provides a standard capturing input form whereby Infrastructure Services could capture the minimum required data, pertaining to Wayleaves, in order to
    • establish base data for the MIS.
    • establish a process whereby new Wayleave data would be captured.
  • Ensuring extensive reporting over the data captured in the Wayleave system as a snapshot-in-time.
  • Ensuring the ability for document linking, searching and retrieval through spatial and logical, text-search functions.
  • Establish a standard Wayleave Code of Practice
  • Ensure that the minimum data required for a successful wayleave application is captured.
  • Increase wayleave application status visibility to include all Service Agencies.
  • Decrease time and effort spent on creating detailed and summary reports across different geographic regions.
  • Decrease time and effort spent on Wayleave-related document filing and retrieval administration.
  • Streamline the coordination of planned work.
  • Improve the interdepartmental communication on annual work plans.
